CRYOCUBE ANNOUNCED AS NEW TITLE PARTNER FOR THE WALES MARATHON

CRYOCUBE ANNOUNCED AS NEW TITLE PARTNER FOR THE WALES MARATHON

Wales’ leading biohacking clinic to bring next‑level recovery focus to one of the UK’s most iconic marathons.

One of the UK’s most scenic and celebrated closed‑road marathons is entering an exciting new chapter with the announcement of Cryocube as the official title partner of The Wales Marathon.

Cryocube, based in Bridgend, is Wales’ most established biohacking and recovery clinic, offering cutting‑edge, science-backed therapies designed to enhance performance, accelerate recovery, and improve overall wellbeing. Their services include whole-body cryotherapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), infrared saunas, red‑light therapy, and halotherapy, bringing advanced recovery technology within reach of all athletes, not just professionals.

HBOT, one of Cryocube’s most impactful therapies, increases oxygen levels in the body to support tissue repair, reduce inflammation, improve circulation, and accelerate recovery after intense training or competition. To make this accessible to all, Cryocube offers a HBOT hiring service, making it possible to enjoy all the benefits of HBOT from the convenience of your own home.

As part of this partnership, Cryocube will help reshape how athletes approach their race preparation, performance, and post‑event recovery, reinforcing the vital role recovery plays throughout the Long Course Weekend journey.

Ana Waite, Business Development Consultant at Cryocube, said:

"As a small growing Welsh business, we’re incredibly proud to support Long Course Weekend and to be the Headline Sponsor of the Welsh Marathon. The event brings communities together and celebrates the resilience and spirit that Wales is known for. From our clinic in Bridgend, where we provide advanced recovery treatments including Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, we see the value of preparation and recovery every day. Supporting participants across the event reflects our mission to make professional-grade recovery accessible to all. This partnership is about people as much as performance and we’re honoured to play a small role in helping individuals perform, recover, and create lasting memories."

Matthew Evans - CEO  of The Wales Marathon says:

“Partnering with Cryo Cube is a powerful step forward for the Wales Marathon. They are a bold, innovative Welsh brand that understands performance at every level. Together, we’ll enhance the athlete journey, from preparation to recovery, and raise the bar for what participants can expect. We’re delighted to welcome them into the Long Course Weekend family and look forward to building something exceptional."

Over the past 15 years, The Wales Marathon has earned a reputation for being both challenging and deeply rewarding. Its unforgiving coastal climbs are balanced by electric crowd support and the event’s iconic red‑carpet finish, cementing its position as a must‑do marathon on the UK running calendar.

The Cryocube Wales Marathon will take place on Sunday 28 June 2026 as the penultimate event of Long Course Weekend Wales in Tenby, Pembrokeshire. The 2026 edition will see Long Course Weekend Wales celebrate its 15th milestone with the spectacular Festival of Champions, welcoming international athletes in the breathtaking county of Pembrokeshire.

Registration is now open, and athletes are encouraged to secure their place early.
