Long Course Weekend Wales announce Hugh James as their new “Powered By” Title Partner

Following a busy winter working towards building new and dynamic partner relationships for LCW Wales, the team are delighted to announce that the event will be rebranded as Long Course Weekend Wales “Powered By” Hugh James.

The top 100 UK Law Firm will represent the world-famous multisport event in Pembrokeshire as a title partner. Additionally, Hugh James will engage with the LCW Legacy Program that provides vital support to local sporting and educational groups, closely aligning with the firms values. Hugh James boasts over 60 years of experience and has established an inclusive philosophy promoting staff-wellbeing and extensive charity work.

Director of Business Development and Marketing at Hugh James, Joe Purcell, who was key to getting the partnership across the line said:

LCW Wales “Powered by Hugh James” is now one of the biggest multisport events in the Northern Hemisphere, televised in over 100 countries, attracting 11,000 athletes and 30,000 spectators. The Long Course Weekend brand is now established in Australia, New Zealand, Mallorca, Holland and Belgium with brand new and exclusive host countries to be announced shortly.

LCW Wales will take place from 30th June – 2nd July 2023 with a brand-new finish line and event village for the first time in the events 12-year history.
